The intention behind Q+S is to capture the small details that underline the excitement of being together; whether it be sexually, romantically or domestically. Over the months it has emerged to be a neat reflection of the development of our time spent together. One can see the exhilarating thrill of a damn good breakfast, sex after much time apart, right up to the present, where creativity found its way into our first apartment together.
We love colour, natural light, beards, bikes and coffee, and as designers, we love to combine these great things within one image, as much as possible!
Our time in this project has brought along many amazing things - we see our timeline and can reflect on our ups and downs, changes and progressions.
Interestingly, it has all lead to the project finding similarities amongst the work of other couple photographers and with that the style has matured and defined itself to be something that is a thrill for us to produce. It has been an incredible opportunity to bring that style to other projects, and we look forward to taking part in more in the future.
Both of us are from various places in Ireland and are, for the time being, located in Manchester, UK, where we do our best to work in the tough world of graphic design and photography.
